Rising from a flat foot to conical sides, the white interior with strong black kufic inscription, single dot to centre, exterior in plain white, repaired breaks

The inscription around this bowl reads, al-'ilm ashraf al-ansab wa al-muruwwa ashbak, 'Knowledge is the most noble lineage and chivalry the most intricate'.
