Poetry, Persian manuscript on paper, 391ff. plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 30ll. of black nasta'liq arranged in four columns with orange and gold intercolumnar rules, headings in white nasta'liq set on gold ground with polychrome scrolling, with four contemporary miniatures, opening folio with illuminated with large central palmette containing 10ll. of elegant nasta'liq in white on gold ground with polychrome floral highlights, surrounded by gold and polychrome scrolling floral vine, further illuminated bifolio with large headpiece with rectangular cartouche containing white nasta'liq on gold ground with polychrome scrolling flowering vine, body of text set on in white cloud on gold ground set in four columns divided by scrolling floral intercolumnar bands, incomplete with eight additional unbound folios, in later morocco binding with stamped central gilt lacquer medallion, spandrels and borders
