Gouache heightened with gold on paper, the miniature divided into rectangles, each depicting a Sikh guru seated on a rug leaning against a baluster cushion or standing on a terrace, each guru accompanied by an attendant with a fly-whisk or spittoon, one accompanied also by a musician, within gold and polychrome borders on a wide margin with lotuses on pink ground and empty red cartouche above, small losses to edges of folio
Miniature 14½ x 11in. (37 x 27.7cm.); folio 19¼ x 13½in. (49 x 34.4cm.)
