Gouache heightened with gold on paper, two nimbate Sikh figures, one in red robes and another in rich green garb sit on the terrace of a pavilion, eight figures kneel before them and two figures stand, as if on guard before its stepped entrance, behind the group an elegant arcaded facade decorated in pietra dura, laid down within brown borders with plain white cartouches, small areas of scuffing
Miniature 14¼ x 11½in. (36.5 x 36.5cm.); folio 16¾ x 14in. (42.4 x 35.4cm.)
