With slightly swamped round barrel, plain tang, flat bevelled lock with 'GR' cypher and signed 'H. NOCK' on the tail (top-jaw and jaw-screw replaced, mechanism catching on half-cock position), later figured full stock with no provision for a ramrod, and brass trigger-guard, small King's proof marks, Ordnance inspection marks
