THE PROPERTY OF SILVANA PAMPANINI
(LOTS 101-106)
Roman-born Silvana Pampanini was, until her early retirement from cinema, one of the most beautiful and popular Italian actresses of the 1950s, preceding other Italian film divas known around the world, such as Sophia Loren and Gina Lollobrigida. As star of a long list of European films including Tirma, La principessa delle Canarie and Sete d'amore, her French fans affectionately called her Nini Pampan. In the course of her illustrious film career, she worked and socialized with an impressive array of international Hollywood stars including Marcello Mastroianni, Tyrone Power, William Holden, Orson Wells and Omar Sharif.
