A LOUIS XV GILTWOOD SCREEN
MID-18TH CENTURY
Comprising the two end panels of a larger screen, the slightly arched frame carved overall with foliate scrolls and flowerheads, each panel covered in blue floral cut velvet to one side and night blue silk velvet to the reverse, the cresting and apron centred with floral sprays, on scrolled foliate supports
Each leaf: 59¾ in. (152 cm.) high; 24½ in. (62 cm.) wide
