CASE: with handle above a strapwork bell stand, the front cresting with flowerhead mounts, large rectangular blue glass panels to the rear door and sides, a plain glass small panel to the front, on toupie feet DIAL: convex glass to white enamel dial signed 'LE FEBURE PÉRE/A FONTAINEBLEAU', chased ormolu hands MOVEMENT: rectangular plates joined by four pillars, silk suspension to verge escapement, countwheel strike on bell above, with holdfast to the back plate; with brass-bound pine travel box; pendulum, winding key
