The case with ormolu side carrying handles inlaid with musical trophies with hinged lid and glass cover enclosing nine bells mounted with birds each with red paste eyes, cylinder mechansim, steel comb with approximately 135 teeth stamped 'NICOLE FRERES', the plate stamped 'NICOLE FRERES GENEVE A 44188', above three frieze drawers with ivory lined key escutcheons, the central drawer fitted with writing slope and compartments, flanked by drawers fitted with cylinders, each number 1-6 and numbered '188', with later label for 'REP. SUNLEY, NOVV.1963'
