The two wine pots identically painted on the sides with two scenes of scholars seated in a landscape alternating with vignettes of roses growing amidst rocks, all within black foliate borders, with blue foliate scroll on the spouts, decorative bands on the tall arched handles, and a flower head on the domed covers, raised on four bracket supports
