A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE PEACH-FORM POURING VESSEL
18TH CENTURY
The finely hollowed vessel in the form of a peach borne on a leafy, gnarled branch carved at one end where the openwork leaves continue over the rim, also carved with five bats (wufu) in flight, two flanking the branch, one spanning the top of the spout at the opposite end, and the last two on either side at the rim, all raised on a narrow circular foot encircling the slightly convex base, the translucent stone of pale greenish-white color
