DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
With steep sides rising to the rim, the exterior decorated with 'archaic pottery tile fragments,' pseudo graphs and various inscriptions in ancient bronze script, one side with a lengthy inscription written in kaishu, the interior painted with a stylized four-point flower head, all between double blue line borders
4 in. (10.2 cm.) diam.
