A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE-DECORATED BLUE-GROUND DISHES
GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
Each with shallow, rounded sides, the interior decorated in famille rose enamels with two magpies, one perched on an ornamental rock, the other in flight, all amidst flowering peony branches and reserved on the rich blue ground, the reverse decorated with three leafy sprays of peach, peony and hibiscus reserved on a white ground
