DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN IRON RED WITHIN A DOUBLE SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
Of square form with indented corners, the exterior decorated in iron red with a band of archaistic chi dragon scroll between ruyi and petal lappet borders, the interior divided into sections by gilded, molded crisscrossing bands, perhaps in imitation of basketweave, each section decorated with a different flower in famille rose enamel
