Finely painted with four medallions containing sprays of peach, pomegranate, chrysanthemum, lychee and rose, interspersed with pairs of lotus sprays, all reserved on a ruby ground delicately incised with feathery, scrolling tendrils, the interior painted in underglaze blue with a medallion of a basket containing peaches, chrysanthemums and roses, beneath sprays of aster, pomegranate, and lingzhi in the cavetto
