With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1973 and its subsequent sale on 8 November 1977.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never been offered at auction before. It is furthermore believed to be the only example of a reference 3601 with champagne dial and retailer's signature Beyer to appear in public to date.

Reference 3601 was in production from 1970 until the early 1980s.
