Arabic manuscript on paper, 701ff. plus 5 fly-leaves, each folio with 13ll. of black and red bihari script, with gold and polychrome rosette verse markers, sura headings in white naskh script on gold ground with orange, blue, purple and black illuminated cartouches issuing marginal medallions, text within blue and red rules, the name of God picked out in gold outlined in black, with numerous illuminated marginal medallions, catchwords trimmed, margins with blue and red rules, opening bifolio with illuminated margins and text outlined in black, preceded with shamsa, with two similar bifolios throughout the manuscript, incomplete at end after Qur'an C (sura al-qari'a), followed by prayers in Persian, final 8 folios remargined, in gilt brown morocco with flap, in fitted cased
