Provenance
According to an associated letter signed by Luise Zedlitz the present order was presented by Emperor Nicholas II to Georg von Zedlitz on 23 May 1913 on the occasion of the wedding of Princess Victoria Louise of Prussia (1892-1980) to the Duke of Brunswick [Ernest Augustus III (1887-1953)] on 24 May 1913.
