LATE 16TH CENTURY, PROBABLY GERMAN
With one-piece skull with prominent roped comb, pointed peak and neck-defence each with recessed border and turned roped edge, and later hinged cheek-pieces (some holing to comb and neck-defence); together with two plates, one possibly from a mitten gauntlet, the other possibly a lower tasset plate (both corroded and holed)
