SIGNED WILLIAMS & POWELL, LIVERPOOL, CIRCA 1840
With rebrowned twist sighted octagonal barrel signed 'LIVERPOOL', engraved breech incorporating the rear-sight, border and scroll engraved tang and back-action lock, the latter signed, figured walnut three-quarter stock with chequered butt, white metal escutcheon, scroll engraved iron mounts, and iron stirrup-ramrod, Birmingham proof marks; together with AN 18-BORE FLINTLOCK OFFICER'S PISTOL, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, with swamped barrel with full length sighting flat, flat bevelled bolted lock with stepped-tail, roller and indistinct signature, walnut full stock, iron mounts, and later ivory-tipped ramrod
