With octagonal barrels, the top barrel sighted and signed, scroll engraved breeches, border and scroll engraved back-action locks, walnut butt, iron mounts including engraved trigger-guard, white metal escutcheon, and replacement iron stirrup-ramrod, London proof marks; together with A BELGIAN 18-BORE DOUBLE-BARRELLED PERCUSSION PISTOL, CIRCA 1840, with etched twist sighted barrels signed 'RUBAN D'ACIER' in gold on the rib, engraved tang and back-action locks, walnut half-stock with chequered butt, engraved iron mounts, later mother-of-pearl escutcheon, and later wooden ramrod, Liège proof
