Constructed from wood, plastic and paper, mounted on a rectangular wooden base lined with a label inscribed rietveld schröder huis interieur verdieping schaal 1:20 werkplaats voor architectuur utrecht and with a perspex cover, supported by a loose socle inscribed with entry information for the Rietveld Schröder house
The maquette 54 cm. high x 77 cm. wide x 58 cm. deep, the perspex cover 60 cm. high x 80 cm. wide x 60 cm. deep; the socle 68 cm. high x 80 cm. wide x 60 cm. deep

"Because the spaciousness of the floor is difficult to grasp in photographs, we had an additional model made on a larger scale. It travelled to the same exhibitions as the smaller one of the exterior."
