The first comprising Qur'an XL (sura ghafir), v.77 (part) to Qur'an XLI (sura fussilat), v.5 (part), Arabic manuscript on parchment, each side with 16ll. of black kufic script, with red dot vocalization, later diacritics marked with black lines, sura title in gold elongated kufic script outlined in black, the reverse with a gold and polychrome rosette marker, hair side rubbed, otherwise in fair condition, the second comprising Qur'an V (sura al-ma'ida), v.66 (part) to v.78 (part), Arabic manuscript on parchment, each side with 5ll. of bold sepia kufic script, with red vocalization, diacritics marked with red dots, hair side slightly rubbed, otherwise in good condition
