STRONGLY IMPRESSIVE IN ITS RENDERING OF SPEED AND RARE AS A SEPARATE WORK, this series depicts out-of-control coach drivers, and was originally published at one guinea with the title on the front wrapper. It also formed part of the larger work, Ideas, Accidental and Incidental, to Hunting and Other Sports (1826-30). AE records no sale of the separate work since 1948. Dixon 84: 'exceedingly rare'; Mellon/Snelgrove 80; Schwerdt I, p. 14; Siltzer p. 72; Tooley 27.
