A GROUP OF THREE AGATE SNUFF BOTTLES
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The first bottle is of flattened spade form and the stone is of a semi-transparent grey colour with dark brown inclusions. The second bottle is of a translucent-wavy tone, with white and honey inclusions. The third and bottle is shaped as a jujube, and the body is carved in relief using the lighter portion of the stone as a cameo with two peanuts in their shells and one outside of its shell.
