A BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' BOWL
WANLI UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1619)
The bowl with deep rounded sides is decorated in vibrant blue tones to the exterior depicting two dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl admist clouds, all above a decorative border, the interior with a further double circle to the centre.
