Apparently unmarked, circa 1825
Of circular form with cover depicting a crowned eagle with the initials JR, enclosing probably a wax seal with coat of arms, attached by cord to the tooled brown leather cover with hand-written and parcel-gilt parchment pages with the patent of nobility of the Brockdorff-Rantzau family
16 cm. diam; the cover 39 cm. high x 30 cm. long
