Lot Essay

John Piper was commissioned to design a series of 'murals' which were realised in 1962 in the form of fibreglass panels. These were installed on the exterior of the conference room wing which projects from the front of what was formerly the North Thames Gas Board building in Wandsworth (Architects E.R.Collister, 1959-1962).
