A WHITE JADE SHAPED OVAL PENDANT
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The flat pendant is well carved on both sides at the top with a dragon and at the bottom with a phoenix, each with backward-turned head, and between them is a shaped panel enclosing the characters longxiang and fengrui (auspicious dragon/auspicious phoenix) reserved on a matte ground. The well-polished stone is semi-translucent and of even white color.
