A GREYISH-GREEN JADE RUYI SCEPTER
The ruyi head is carved in low relief with a shou character surrounded by four of the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, (parasol, lotus, fish and vase), while three others (standard of victory, endless knot and conch) are in the center of the arched handle and the eighth (wheel of the law) is at the ruyi-shaped tip, which is pierced. The stone is of even greyish-green color.
