FIRST EDITION of this early account of Algiers, best known for containing the story (f. 185) of Cervantes' capture by Algerian pirates. The frontispiece, called for by Palau, is often lacking. Brunet III, 9; Goldsmith H-3; Salvá II, 3339; Palau VI, 111980: 'Obra rara en comercio'.
