Second edition, which included a life of the author by Francisco de Rioja and 308 love sonnets, addressed to the poet's unnamed 'amada', Doña Leonor, wife of the conde de Gelves. It was much enlarged from the first edition (1582) which had contained only 78 sonnets. AE records no sale since 1969. Salvá I, 668: 'edicion mui bella y rara'; Palau VI, 114060; not in Goldsmith.
