AN ARCHAISTIC GOLD AND SILVER-INLAID BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER, DING
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The compressed body is raised on three hollow columnar supports decorated with archaistic blade motifs, and is cast in low relief with three taotie masks reserved on a leiwen ground and separated by plain flanges below a narrow decorative border and a pair of bail handles rising from the everted rim.
