A SILVER-INLAID GILT-BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER

The globular body is cast in high relief with three taotie masks inlaid with thin silver details, each mask positioned above one of the slender tubular legs decorated at the top with stylized masks. The everted rim is surmounted by a pair of bail handles inlaid with key fret. The base is cast with an inscription reading Xuande ernian Zhou Yi wei Xiuquan zhuren zhi (made for Master Xiuquan by Zhou Yi in the second year of Xuande reign).
