A LARGE MOTTLED GREEN JADE MOUNTAIN
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Carved in high relief on one side with a procession of boys accompanied by a lion approaching a gateway that leads to a path that rises up the face of the mountain towards Shoulao and a boy holding a peach who stand in an opening below two pavilions and a tree. On the reverse are two figures in one of two boats laden with cargo sailing amidst the cresting waves of a river surrounded by rocks and trees.
