A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE ARCHAISTIC RECTANGULAR VASE
18TH CENTURY
The slender rectangular body is raised on a pedestal foot and encircled by a band of bosses around the mid-section within key-fret borders. On one of the narrow sides a large scaly dragon rises to the rim where its head rests amidst wispy lingzhi-form clouds. The stone is of greenish-white tone with some small areas of russet highlighting the extremities of the carving.
