Arabic manuscript on paper, 295ff. plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of small black naskh within gold and black ruled text panels, catchwords, gold and polychrome verse roundels, sura headings in white naskh on gold panels, hizb marked in red in the margins, juz' marked in gold and polychrome marginal medallions, first bifolium with dense gold and polychrome illumination surrounding 7ll. of text in clouds reserved against gold ground, possibly added colophon in clouds reserved against gold ground within cusped medallion the medallion on a ground of floral scroll, signed Ahmad 'Aziz bin .... and dated 1267, some smudging, in contemporary brown morocco with gold tooled lattice containing dots, a gold border around, green paper doublures
