THE PANEL SIGNED 'ABD AL-RASHID, MUGHAL INDIA AND POSSIBLY IRAN, 17TH/18TH CENTURY
Ink on marbled paper, the elegant inscription arranged in clouds on gold ground illuminated with dense red foliage, signed in the lower left hand corner 'Abd al-Rashid, laid down between gold and polychrome rules and gold floral borders, the cream borders with finely illuminated gold lattice, in good condition, together with four calligraphic panels, including two in shikasteh, one in shikasteh ta'liq and one in naskh script signed Kamil and dated AH 1236, in good condition
