A treatise on music, Arabic manuscript on paper, 133ff. as numbered plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of black maghribi script, some words picked out in red and green, text sometimes arranged in two columns, text within red and blue rules, opening folio with polychrome illuminated frontispiece, quires loose in binding, colophon stating that this was copied in Safar AH 1283/June-July 1866 AD, quires loose in binding, ink corroding through the paper, in 19th century gilt and stamped reddish brown morocco binding with flap
