EIGHT FATIMID TIRAZ BANDS

Comprising eight cotton tiraz fragments, five with calligraphic inscriptions and three with geometric decoration, including one of plainweave linen woven in bordeaux cotton with delicate palmetted and pseudo-kufic calligraphy; the second one of plainweave linen woven in black cotton with the writing in white and scrolls of palmettes; the third one on wool woven with green and white cotton, decorated with geometric patterns; the fourth fragment, woven with red, beige and white cotton, with naskh script
