A PAIR OF GREEK GOLD GOAT HEAD EARRINGS
HELLENISTIC PERIOD, CIRCA 3RD CENTURY B.C.
Each with a hoop of spiralling plain wire tapering to plain wire that hooks through a loop on the underside of the goat head terminal, with a collar of wire tongues joined to the neck, the ridged goat horns curving over the separately-made elongated ears, the fleece incised around the jaw
