Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 5 October 2011, setting pin, instruction manual, product literature, leather wallet, slip bag, additional plain caseback, fitted veneered wooden presentation box and outer packaging.

Reference 5270 was introduced to the market at the Basel Fair in April 2011 and replaced the celebrated reference 5970. Reference 5270 is today only available in white gold. It houses the latest calibre 29 535 PS with Patek Philippe's new hallmark of excellence, the PP Seal. This caliber was first introduced with reference 5170.

The present example, retailed by the Salons Patek Philippe in Geneva, is preserved in an excellent condition as it was barely ever worn. It is a rare find as the yearly production from Patek Philippe for this model is very limited.
