With blued octagonal sighted barrel, signed in full and engraved with a band of foliage at the muzzle and a spray of scrollwork at the breech, case-hardened cylinder numbered from '1' to '6' and engraved with a band of foliage at the front edge, blued border and scroll engraved frame, case-hardened engraved hammer and blued sprung hammer-safety, bright trigger, finely chequered walnut grips, case-hardened rammer, and blued border and scroll engraved butt-cap and trigger-guard, retaining much original finish throughout (blueing faded and flaked on frame), Birmingham proof marks
