A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' BOWLS
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
Each bowl is potted with delicately rounded sides, supported on a short tapered foot. The exterior of each bowl is painted in bright shades of cobalt blue depicting two fierce dragons striding amongst stylised flames and scrolling clouds, above a band of crashing waves encircling the foot.
