A FINELY MOULDED DINGYAO DISH
JIN DYNASTY (1115-1234)
The dish, with shallow rounded sides rising from a neat foot ring, is moulded in the interior with four mandarin ducks flying amongst lotus and other flowers around a central medallion of similar flowers and foliage. The dish is covered overall in a glaze of ivory tone pooling to pale olive above the foot.
7¼ in. (18.5 cm.) diam.
