A PAIR OF DOUCAI FLORAL BOWLS
DAOGUANG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
Each is decorated to the exterior with six flower sprays interspersed on a ground of stylised scrolling foliage, a band of interlocking blue trefoils on a yellow ground encircles the rim. The interior is embellished with a central cartouche of flowers encircled by florettes and scrolling almond medallions.
