A SMALL CELADON JADE MOUNTAIN BOULDER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The boulder is carved in high relief depicting a scholar and his attendant in a mountainous, rocky landscape standing beneath a pine tree, a cascading waterfall to one side, the reverse embellished with two cranes and a lingzhi fungus, the stone with cloudy white and russet inclusions.

A Private European Collection, acquired in London in the 1960s and 1970s.
