TWO LARGE CELADON-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE 'PHOENIX' VASES

Each vase with twin dragon handles is decorated with two cartouches enclosing a pair of colourfully-feathered phoenix amongst rocks and tree peonies. The reverse with a riot of tree peonies, foliage and rocks. The neck with smaller panels enclosing "The Three Friends of Winter", "The Four Gentlemen" and calligraphic inscriptions. The panels in reserve on a celadon ground scattered with floral medallions.
