A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE VASE
18TH CENTURY
The vessel is fashioned in the form of a lotus leaf and the exterior is carved in relief with a swallow hovering above lotus stems. A bud and a flower are carved growing from the base. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet, grey and cloudy inclusions.
