A BLUE AND WHITE OVOID JAR
TRANSITIONAL PERIOD, CIRCA 1630-50
The vessel is decorated with a garden scene of two ladies standing below a willow tree with hands clasped before a stand laden with ritual vessels, all amongst rocks and foliage. The scene is painted between an incised floral band at the shoulder and a wave band by the foot rim.
